Summary
For the years Diluc was away, he took on names and disguises and even a different body. It was a past unspoken, buried, and hidden, but Kaeya's eyes were an irritatingly impenetrable force. He could see past everything, even through the walls Diluc had put up.

Summary
Post-reversion, Diluc’s body reacts with startling intensity to Albedo’s experiments. Every touch, every restraint, every humiliating detail he meticulously induced. Even his mere presence. She hates how much she craves it, but the data doesn’t lie.
Ethics, Albedo finds, is not one of his strong suits.
He'll record the data, he decides. For the sake of her recovery.

Summary
That glint in his eyes, the way they caught the pale morning light, sharp and far too perceptive. An essential skill for an alchemist as smart as him, for the captain of the Knights of Favonius' investigation team, for a scientist acting as her doctor. It was infuriating. Worse, it was exciting. The realization sent another hot wave of red flooding across her skin, betraying her all over again.
Alternatively: Diluc spent five years numbing her mind and rewriting her body into a rougher shape to escape herself. Until the day her veins ruptured from the strain of self-erasure. Now, raw and feeling everything again, she must confront the vulnerability she buried.
For the alchemist, this is uncharted territory: a human subject with complicated emotions and an even more complex body.
The experiment is no longer considered as one.
There are some things he can't record.

-Through the Looking GlassIn which Jabber is not a mad scientist, because he doesn't consider himself a scientist. Furthermore, he ranked in at about the second happiest person he knew, though it said nothing about the happiness of the people who knew Jabber.
In other news, Zodyl figures out how to punish a violent masochist. Zanka does not.

Summary
Zanka earned his first victory against Jabber. Tipping the scale might have tipped them into each other, but if the solution they made was a deadlier thing than they'd ever been as separate components, that was neither here nor there.
