Summary
But, a new emotion stirs in Wednesday. One that is fighting to be heard, she can feel it climbing up her throat. It's filled with brutality, but not in a violent way, no–even worse.
In an honest way.
"Your scars, they're radiant." Her voice drops even more. She almost fears Enid didn't hear. But the blonde snaps upright in bed. Her face is still red and wet with tears. The concealer is gone and Wednesday's gaze softens seeing the markings.
Maybe being honest is what Enid needs.
Or the one where Enid is insecure about her scars and Wednesday adores them.

Summary
“Tell me about your new book. The one where Viper finally tells Evelyn she loves her.”
“She doesn’t,” Wednesday replied, then felt the faint frown on Enid’s lips before she saw it. “Not yet. The manuscript is only two-thirds complete.”
She didn’t say that since graduation day—since Enid’s collapse on the stage—fiction had turned to sand slipping through her fingers. She only promised, softly, that the chapter would exist.
And that she would read it to her one day.
Even if the audience was only a memory.

After graduation, Enid Sinclair learns she is dying, and Wednesday refuses to leave her girlfriend’s side for the months that remain.
Surrounded by faith and false hopes, Wednesday realizes that love is the only fable and fact she will ever believe in.
(Based on the song ‘Fable’ by Gigi Perez)

Summary
She was being hunted, and the growls and howls that echoed through the trees around her made Wednesday’s heart, a stone, beat at an erratic pace, her hands quivered in an unwanted chain reaction – being buried alive didn’t feel like this.
Fear. Thrill. All laced into one poisonous, lethal injection in her blood.
Or Wednesday hunting down Enid.

Summary
"As the new school year settles into familiarity, I find myself unwillingly surrounded by an entourage of deluded individuals claiming to be my friends. The aforementioned individuals commonly display behaviours which I find intolerable at best. This is unacceptable. However, for reasons unknown, my threats of violence are quickly losing their effectiveness at dissuading such unwanted behaviour. In light of this, I've decided to attempt a different approach: instead of reprimanding what I consider bad behaviour, I will reward what I consider good behaviour."
Enid shook her head. "Wednesday, do you really think that's gonna--"
Wednesday held up a gold-star sticker. Enid let her sentence trail off and stared, baffled.
Slowly, Wednesday peeled it from the backing and stuck it onto Enid's cheek.
"Blissful silence,” Wednesday said. “It's working already."
