    The year Louis was in the 8th grade, his mom decided to gather the families of their closest friends to go caroling. Every family would submit two names they wanted to carol to, and the entire group would drive around town, like a mass Christmas caroling parade of cars, before stopping at a house, singing, and moving on.

    Louis wasn't excited for this. It was cold, they would be outside in said cold, and he only wanted to stay warm and comfortable in the house. At least his best friend Gemma and her family are part of the caroling crew.

    As the tradition develops, so does Louis' schoolboy crush on Gemma's younger brother, Harry. But that's all it is. A silly schoolboy crush.

    Until they grow up, of course. And then it's something else.
