  Summary

  Original fic title was, "Castle Kerringford but Barnabas Doesn't Jump the Gun So John is Just a Paranoid Attack Dog For the Rest of the Night.jpg" and I think that is a more effective summary than anything else I could put here. But, just in case:
  After a very long evening of pretending to not be slowly succumbing to elder-god-granted consumption, Arthur isn't confident he can keep his eyes open long enough to keep himself and his passenger from getting murdered in the middle of the night. But, maybe John can.
