Summary
Who would have any motive to steal the boss? Loads of people. If he couldn’t find out who exactly took him he would just go slaughter each and every single one of their enemies until he found the boss. He didn’t care about the consequences, having his partner back was worth everything. He would kill everyone around if Dazai so requested, and he would do it regardless of anyone else.
OR
Port Mafia boss Osamu Dazai and his overprotective guard dog that kills everyone for him.

Summary
Chuuya meets Dazai at a party celebrating Mori Ougai’s ascension as master of the city, a move which every vampire in attendance is very politely pretending didn’t require the murder of the previous master in cold blood. One second Chuuya is tucked into a corner nursing a glass of AB positive and carefully avoiding eye contact with anyone else at the party, the next a human teenager is scaring his undead heart almost to beating again.
“You’re not like the other ones,” says Dazai.
“What the fuck?” Chuuya replies.
In which Nakahara Chuuya, a 97-year-old vampire, meets Dazai Osamu, a 14-year-old human, and their lives become irrevocably intertwined.

"It's really nothing ane-san," Chuuya tries to assure, regretting ever opening his mouth "Just a rivalry that never saw it's end is all."
"Well don't go falling in love." Her eyes suggest that she believed nothing of what he said "It is far worse than this little obsession."
"With that bastard?" Chuuya scoffed "I wouldn't dream of it. I have to leave, I have a report."
"Very well." She sighed.
Just as Chuuya was about to leave, he heard her call out.
"Oh, and Chuuya?" Her words carried a threatening aura now. "Nothing concerning the demon prodigy ever goes well. Remember that."

Summary
Dazai would bet money he did not have that this whole situation was the President’s fault.
..
That wasn’t entirely fair. It was much more likely this was all Ranpo’s fault, and the President was just an unknowing, well-intentioned accomplice.
Did Dazai enjoy any opportunity to rile up Yokohama’s angriest little slug? Certainly. Did that in any way mean that he was looking for his coworkers to meddle in his personal life? Obviously not.
