Slade isn't worried. He's not concerned, either, no matter what Billy would probably say if he were here. He just doesn't like being out of the loop, especially when it comes to what's his. Likes it even less when it's something dangerous. Jason hasn't answered his phone. It went straight to voicemail the second time he called, after the news report came through of the massive floating fortress above Gotham eating itself and disappearing into nothingness. Sucked through a portal, the irritatingly shaky video feed seemed to show.
If he needs to go jumping through to other realms, he'd really like to know as soon as possible.

Summary
Tim remembers being Junior. He tells Bruce he doesn’t, and Tim thinks Bruce actually believes him. Either way, it doesn’t matter. What Bruce does or doesn’t know won't change what Tim remembers, or what he’ll never talk about with anyone. Well, Cassie had made him talk about it, but that had been less of an “I trust you with this” conversation and more of a “You witnessed an episode I had after I lost two of my best friends, my father figure, my actual father, and Robin.” It isn’t like they talk about it now, though, even after 3 of those people came back. Tim still isn’t Robin, and his father is still dead.

Summary
It’s the first time anyone in the family has seen Drake in months, as far as Damian knows. He’s not sure what he was expecting when Drake showed his face again, but it wasn’t this: toothbrush hanging out of his mouth, wearing a too-large hoodie, rooting through the fridge at two in the morning in the Kents’ farmhouse. He looks like a mess. He looks more relaxed than Damian’s ever seen him.
(Tim drops off the face of the earth, leaving a Drake-sized hole in the family. Damian’s the last person anyone would have expected to fix it.)

Summary
After Dick reveals what happened with him and Catalina Flores, there is some drift between everyone. Jason tries to figure out who was responsible for hurting his brother, but when Tim returns from wherever the hell he ran off to, those answers all come to light. Along with the aching guilt they're feeling. Angsty, yeah.

The thought of Bruce being alive couldn’t be snuffed out of him. It wouldn’t leave his mind. He needed to search for him, alone if he had to. He was going to find Bruce and bring him home.
But, right now, all he can focus on is the terrible ache spreading across his body.
