“Y’all are sweet,” she says, and nods to indicate him and Cas. “Is he your—are you all together?”
Dean’s still contemplating how to answer this without saying something offensive—he never has figured out a polite way to say “no homo”—when Cas answers for him. Cas doesn’t even look up from his plate, his mouth full of baklava and some stray flakes of phyllo dough sticking to his lips when he says, “Yes.”
Dean feels more than sees Sam go very still across the table, forkful of salad and grilled chicken poised in midair.

Summary
Cas makes it to the bunker, but as the weeks pass it becomes apparent that he isn't dealing as well with being human as the brothers would like. Sam decides they should take Cas for a day out on the town, exploring humanity from a more touristy angle to show him that biology isn't all that bad. Meanwhile Charlie does everything in her power to play matchmaker, and Dean isn't as oblivious as she thinks. (Season 9 AU where Sam is healed without possession and Cas is hurt but not killed by April.)

Summary
Despite Zeke’s threats, Dean doesn't tell Cas to leave the bunker. He revels in their burgeoning relationship, content to end his day with Cas asleep on his shoulder, even if they'll always sleep in separate rooms. Cas is it for him. But when Cas begins to experience physical urges he can't control, he asks Dean for a hand—metaphorically, and later, literally.
