Summary
Actor Kim Seokjin’s love life has always been the subject of wild rumours but he has never been caught in a scandal. Behind closed doors, however, he is going through a rough breakup. Namjoon, as the Head of Close Protection, does not expect to pick up the pieces, yet here he is: standing at Seokjin’s door at two in the morning, about to make the biggest mistake of his life.
Seokjin took the phone and looked in amazement at a 28-second fancam set to a sultry, moany song that featured slow-mo footage of Namjoon escorting him in and out of cars and buildings, of Namjoon holding umbrellas for him, of Namjoon shoving people out of the way at an airport (Seokjin remembered that chaotic day). With piercing and sharp dragon eyes, Namjoon sent glares at crowds and photographers like he was two steps from murder at any given moment, but then Namjoon would turn to escort Seokjin with the gentlest of touches. The video caption said, eloquently, ‘hottest bodyguard in all of Korea’.

Summary
“We’re going to have a big yard someday, hyung,” Namjoon says suddenly.
Seokjin throws the ball for Koya again before tilting his head. “What?”
Namjoon pushes off of the gate and walks toward him, gently grabbing the pockets of his jacket and pulling him close. “I’m going to get my big break, and we’re going to get a house just outside of the city with a huge yard for Koya. It’ll have a room for my studio, and the kitchen of your dreams.”
“Can we have bookshelves in the living room?” Seokjin asks, buzzing with warmth as he smiles up at Namjoon. “With a rolling ladder?”
Namjoon smiles back at him tenderly, letting go of Seokjin’s pockets to instead hold his cheeks. “We can have anything you want.”
Seokjin leans into his touch. “I already have everything I want.”

Seokjin is content with the life he has, but Namjoon, an aspiring artist, wants more. When events in their lives pull them in opposite directions, the future Namjoon has dreamed of feels out of reach, and he begins to wonder if they still have a future at all.
