Today had been by all accounts fairly standard, however. No elaborate plans or ostentatious villains, just a good old-fashioned monster terrorizing a city. And Rex loved missions like these, loved the chance to show off without some manipulative bastard distracting him with taunting and mind games. So Six stood back and watched the kid have the time of his life, chasing some slimy blue thing that spit corrosive juices at anything that moved, and he let his guard down.
