Summary
Jason Todd never has activated his comms without knowing, never wanting to rely on any of the Bats. They didn’t come before, and why should they feel obligated to come now? Jason can’t figure out who his attackers are. He’s so cold, and he can’t see anything, but he’d find a way out of this. His head is pounding, and everything hurts. He just doesn’t want to die alone again. He wants to stay alive.
OR
Jason Todd gets really beat up by two men whose sadistic goal is to break the Red Hood and he activates his comms as a last resort, without realizing Oracle could hear him. Dick gets the message and scrambles to find Jason, as he’d rather die than let Jason die again.
