   Summary

   ‘The sun seems to constantly work against the general, he thinks, sitting slumped against his window, watching it make its decent from the highest point in the sky, from ruling the heavens, giving into to the moons reign.

   First it took his youth, working with time to rob him of his innocence and his mercy, then years and years later leaving with an army to run.

   Then, as if playing some cruel joke, it gave him too many sun summoners, but finally leaving him with too little. Or just not the one he wants.

   And oh he wants’

   Who could blame him for not listening when his darling, beautiful, boring wife when she mentioned the impending wedding of sobachka, the tsavarich of Ravka to his mystery bride?
