Summary
The problem with getting together two weeks before finals is that you barely have the chance to enjoy your new relationship before the semester is over.
Set the summer between Quentin's first and second year at Brakebills, this is a story about discovering how to make space in your life for someone else. Told over the course of three months, our boys navigate distance, Ted's Illness, Eliot's thesis, and their own demons as they learn what it means to truly be together and apart.

Summary
Eliot Waugh is the Prince of Brakebills University, living without a care in the world. That is, until his platonic soulmate finds love, thanks to his definitely-not-unintentional matchmaking. It was a big change, but all’s well that ends well and he’s happy for Margo and Julia. You know. Mostly.
But no one likes a renowned hedonist who focuses on his inner maudlin blah. So instead, Eliot opts to invest his energy into taking a new girl under his wing. She's dorky, intense, fresh off a year-long sojourn at Brakebills South... and in desperate need of fun.
What a lucky young lady that Alice Quinn is.
(Or: Unabashedly Queer “Emma,” at Brakebills.)

Summary
In every possible timeline, Quentin and Eliot find their way to each other. Including this one. No Beast, no quests, yet including the greatest challenge of all—a timeline where Quentin’s exam guide and first friend was, uh… Todd. Rom-com fun, for the soul.
(Or: In which Quentin is allowed to find joy.)

Summary
"If I were to speculate, I would suspect that it is not only the body which is subject to decay. Whatever transpires beyond the point you crossed, it likely necessitates a kind of spiritual apoptosis—the parts of you equipped for this world wither or die off to prepare you fully for the next. Your friends restored your body—that’s the easy part. The regrowth of pieces which were in the process of accepting their own obliteration—that will take time. Or so I should think.”
“Oh,” Quentin said. “But you think—you think they can grow back?”
(Or: in which Julia has an idea, Quentin attempts to recuperate, and the path back to the self is rarely so linear as we would prefer.)

Summary
Season 4 was a curse. No, really.
(The one where Quentin’s actually trapped in Blackspire the whole time, and all is not as it seems.)
