Summary
The Kingdom of Kaiserion is the stronghold of the Emeritus family and a home to all those who aren't accepted by the rest of the world. But as the bloodline weakens, so do the wards keeping the kingdom save. What better way to strengthen the bonds with hell than through a marriage?
Prince Terzo, the King's left hand man and commander of his armies, is willing to go to war for his country. He finds himself less willing to marry an omega, the one thing he swore he'd never do. But needs must. When his fiancé turns out to be anything but the spoilt little lordling Terzo expected, the carefully built walls around his heart start to crumble.

Summary
Most days, Terzo feels like a haunted house. People shuffle up close in curiosity to take a look, but run away when the curtains shift. Phantom has run towards him, not a shred of fear or trepidation in his face as he threw the curtains back and looked inside.
Phantom’s attention is like sunshine after a long winter, and Terzo is afraid of freezing again. He’s not someone to be held in such a bright gaze for long. He’s too worn, too strange.

Dew’s blue eyes stare back at him, and the tranquil lakes in them have frozen over and left glaciers. “Of course, your grace,” he spits, making Copia flinch. He wants to step closer, wants to pull Dew into his arms and wrap his heavy robes around him, shield him from the people in the room and the chill in the air and the horrors that are to come. But there is nothing he can do, nothing at all, the both of them marionettes on strings, which run together in Imperator’s hands.

Diego had a lot of nightmares. And a lot of worries and a lot of anxiety, really. Growing up on the Umbrella Academy and time travelling to prevent the apocalypse - twice - tended to do that to a person.
