Ace exists in a body that fights and wins and needs to rest; the nicest way to do all of those things is by participating in the fights hosted at the Raftel colosseum. Getting access to the baths as part of his "need to rest" is perhaps the best benefit of being a gladiator, and after a fight, nothing feels better.

Well, being a champion often means catching the audience's eye, and with the Emperor in frequent attendance, it's only a matter of time before Ace gets to entertain a royal visitor.

Or: Tim decides Kon and Bart should work out some restless energy in a way that requires a little bit more than their usual effort. What better way to stop an "unwanted' behaviour then to get them to tire out each other?
