His eyes flew open and for a moment comprehended nothing, until they finally adjusted to the darkness and he registered a figure perched on his roof. He yelped, scrambling into a sitting position for the first time that day.
“Can I come in?” said a muffled voice. Gus blinked. It was Matt. Because of course it was Matt, and why the hell was it Matt? Though puzzled, he leaned towards his window and pulled the latch.
