Someone has hacked into the Glamrocks, with only Freddy unaffected. With no idea who is behind this or why they're doing it, he and Vanessa are determined to make sure Gregory survives the night. But as it becomes more and more clear that someone plans to make sure Vanessa takes the fall, that the culprit themselves may just be a puppet on strings, Freddy quickly realizes that they'll need all the help they can get to end this nightmare.

Sometimes, it ventured out to the entrance hall that led to the Welcome Show, just to activate the motion triggers and hear that voice, his voice. Daddy. Edwin.
Sometimes, that voice made it want to cry (even though it can’t cry), and it would curl up with its face in its hands and pretend anyway, even though that’s not allowed, and it always had to punish itself after.
Sometimes, that voice made it want to scream instead, and when it did, it would use the most wretched, tearing scream it had in its memories. One that it had inherited from Mommy’s copied memories (why is she allowed to pretend and I’m not), the one that had torn from her voice box when there was a car and David—don’t think about that

"The golden Servant looks at her for a moment, then at Kariya, as though uncomprehending. His shoulders tremble. Then his head tips back and unrestrained laughter comes forth. It’s both comforting and scary, and Sakura resists the urge to hide behind Kariya.
His laughter stops as quickly as it started. He looks at Sakura with cool amusement. 'Honesty is a rare thing from a Mage. Humility even more so.'
'…Thank you?' Sakura feels very tired.
'And to have summoned me, let alone at your puny age, well…one could call that a miracle.' His armor clanks as he strides out of the circle toward her. 'What might your name be, little one?'
'I-It’s Sakura,' she says, feeling ever weaker. 'Sakura M—Tohsaka.'”
