“Lets have a picnic in Yoyagi park,” he declared, pulling up the park's website. He had gotten pretty good at typing quickly, something he was proud of. He held the device out for Togawa to look at as well. His boyfriend put his own phone to sleep, interest piqued, “It seems pretty crowded on the weekend, so we should get there before ten.”
“Oh, we're going tomorrow?” Togawa asked, and Nozue nodded.

Togawa looked at him with wide eyes, which melted into depths of fondness that Nozue was still shocked could be directed at him. Togawa stood up and approached him, grabbing his cheeks to give him a lingering, adoring kiss, which Nozue reciprocated eagerly. When they pulled apart, Togawa rested their foreheads together, “I can do that. Are you going to make karaage?”Nozue laughed, pecking his nose, “For you? Of course.”

He hasn’t thought much about it, but it’s just hit him how long it has been since his last vacation. Numerous business trips had him traveling to many different parts of the country, but he never had the time to stop and appreciate the area as much as he would’ve liked. After a quick search on his phone and asking Togawa if his schedule was free, he decided that it was about time they went on a trip. Beside him, Togawa looked at him with raised brows, “Are you sure? Don’t you want to rest?”
In the spirit of spontaneity, he replied. “Why waste this opportunity to go on a trip?”
A small part of him was still unsure about his proposed plan, but Togawa’s grin at the suggestion told Nozue that it was the right choice. Togawa delighted any time Nozue willingly left his comfort zone, and nothing made him want to be bolder than that smile.
