Summary
The thing with Lando was that he was so open. He didn't stray from the fact that he was an Omega, never feared calling himself that. He said it like it was something to be proud of, like it didn't change who he was at all.
Oscar envied him in a way he didn't really understand.
OR: you have to learn to love yourself first to be able to love somebody else, Oscar learns. The knowledge doesn't make it any easier, because it still feels like there is a demon inside of him, slowly clawing its way out.

Summary
Lando has been super excited to go on a summer trip with his whole friend group. They all lived in different corners of the world, and getting everyone in the same place for a month felt impossible, but they achieved it.
For months he couldn't contain his anticipation, thinking about seeing everyone, missing the college nights where they would sleep over in Alex's basement, the space being way too little for a dozen adult men.
Lando would still be hyper-excited if he and his boyfriend didn't break up just two months prior to the trip (and Carlos still decided to go).
Lando (obviously) still decided to go too, because he wasn't a pussy, and he wouldn't let his ex ruin his chance to see everyone together once again.
Also, who the heck is this whole Oscar guy, and how hadn't Lando met him yet?
OR: the absolute insanity that is a landoscar summer fling fic

Summary
Lando had been obsessed with vampires since he was a kid, and Oscar was well aware of it. He wouldn't mind Lando's quirk if not for the fact that he was a vampire, and Lando, the moron he was, made it his life mission to provoke Oscar's vampire side.
It couldn't have ended up well for both of them.

Summary
And god, Oscar - he himself was the reason why Lando found himself in this situation. He wouldn't be drinking the shitty, too expensive drinks in the middle of Santa Susanna, sitting on the not-so-cold pavement, waiting for the second appearance of Christ or whatever the fuck if it wasn't because of Oscar.
Because it was always about him.
OR: Lando gets drunk because he reaaally doesn't want to think about his feelings.

Summary
Oscar tilted his head, scrunching his eyes to make sure that he wasn't hallucinating Lando there (it happened before, okay?), but no, the man was a hundred percent there, silent, so unfamiliarly silent, but there.
They stared at each other for a longer while, objective silence filling the air, the storm quiet for a few minutes - until it made itself known again, a loud THUD breaking the stillness of everything. Oscar saw Lando jump at the sound, his whole body going up a few centimeters.
They stared at each other again, Oscar now way more concerned than before, until the Brit broke the eye contact, looking down, shy? He shuffled on his feet, his mouth opening and closing a few times before he was able to make a sound.
"I'm scared," he finally mumbled, quiet, like he didn't want the words to be heard. They were barely hearable because of the rain anyway, but Oscar still heard him.
OR: Lando and Oscar have quite different views on thunderstorms.

Summary
He still tried to talk, he really did, his mouth open, the words being there, but not exactly audible. Fucking awesome, all he needed at the moment was to go non-verbal.
His brain didn't take the ability to talk from him all that often, because he never got this stressed out when around people, and never felt safe enough to not talk. It's not like he felt safe here, but his body was actively running on pure spite.
And it happened now, in the worst moment possible, when everyone was waiting for him to talk, silence covering the whole space of the room.
In the corner of his eyes he saw that Lando was leaning towards him, the movement slow, yet there.
"You can't talk?" he asked, whispered so quietly, that there was no way anyone other than Oscar heard him.
OR: Oscar's first day at the new uni goes from bad to shit in a speed of light, but hey, at least Lando is here to save the day.

Summary
"Yeah? What about him?"
"You are going to date him," Logan didn’t wrap the words in any colorful wrapping paper, didn’t try to make them more gentle and welcoming. Just said them like that, like he was talking about the weather, like it wasn’t a goddamn bomb on it's way to destroy Oscar's life.
Like it didn’t make Oscar’s heart stop, just for a broken second, just long enough to feel a brisk of stress.
"Haha," he laughed, the sound extremely dry and fake and insincere. Logan kept the look from before on his face, the same one that yelled ‘this is serious’. Why couldn’t they talk about this tomorrow? He was tired. "You are not kidding?" he questioned, a drop of desperation and hope ripping into the words.
OR: It's a well known fact that Oscar has had a crush on Lando since he was a teen. Make Lando a popstar, add pretend relationship into the mix, get this.

Summary
"For Savras's sake, can you finally listen?" the purple man was crouching, his hands grabbing onto Oscar's shoulders. His lips were parted, showing his sharp teeth.
"What are you?" Oscar questioned, moving backwards, trying to get away from the bigger man, and his big hands and his big, sharp nails (claws). His runaway plan ended when he felt his back hit the headboard. The sweat was prickling on his back and his hands, a hot heat of anxiety overcoming him.
"Really? That's the first thing you ask, when you just appeared right in front of me, almost naked, may I add? I knew elves were racist, but damn," he clicked his tongue, it making a weird, unnaturally dry sound.
"I'm not an elf," was all Oscar said, even though the sentence should be more of a 'what do you mean an elf?' or 'elves exist?' or 'what the fuck is going on?', but that's neither here nor there.
OR: All Oscar wanted to do was go to his job, talk bullshit with his coworkers and come back home. Instead, he woke up in someone else's bed, with a purple man right next to him (the said man being Lando, that is).

Summary
And that in itself would be fine. The Brit didn't want to fully commit, and Oscar was too much of a pussy to ask the question, but that would be fine. He was fine with getting all the benefits from a relationship without ever calling it one. That just how they were, ever since they started living together.
It made sense.
It felt correct.
But then Oscar realized how close Lando was with his friends, and it made him feel like shit.
OR: Oscar and Lando have an awkward situationship, but they make it work in the end.

Summary
"When was the last time you slept?" he questioned, his eyes all concerned and ugh, Oscar hated making Lando worry like that. He was fine (or at least going to be when he was eventually done with the homework).
"I'm fine," he said as much, grabbing Lando's hand. He wanted to shake it off, but the feeling of the rough, warm skin felt quite nice, so he just put his hand there. Perfectly normal Oscar behaviour, Lando had no reason to be concerned.
OR: Oscar stays a bit too late and Lando takes care of him.

Summary
"It's," the guy stopped seemingly to think about the answer. Honestly, how difficult of a task was remembering his own name?
"I'm Lando, if that helps you answer," he remarked, hoping that his annoyment hasn't slipped to his tone.
"Don't get pissy on me, or I will leave you on the side of the road. I'm Oscar," he said, Australian accent heavy. Yeah, no, Lando knew why this voice felt so familiar. He listened to the recording of him hundreds, thousands of times, it being the only proof of him, of Oscar being an actual person, and not the result of his imagination.
He was very real and he was very sitting next to Lando. Fuck.
OR: Oscar is a serial killer and Lando believes in destiny (and is mentally unstable 11 out of 10 times)

"Are you... okay? Sorry, stupid question," he said and sat down, just by the entrance. "Do you want me to be here?"
Oscar nodded once. Barely.
