long ago, the kingdom of yihua was a peaceful one, as the king and queen were able to live peacefully with their four sons. however, the peace was disrupted once the queen was killed. fearing the worst for his children, the king magically sealed his children in a hidden castle deep in the forest, leaving the princes in an empty castle full of books, a variety of things to help them pass the time, and each other.
after 10 years in being stuck in that “prison,” the princes find themselves yearning for the world they were once a part of: the stars, the gardens, and the people. so, they take it upon themselves to break free and explore the world, wielding the freedom that they’ve rightly earned.

though shuichi's basically a genius who graduated high school at the age of 13, most of the things that he's been doing get him into a lot of trouble. sure, it's nice that his uncle has someone who can poke around things and go undercover when he's busy, but shuichi's just 14 years old. he continues to live the life of an undercover detective until his older brother, makoto, gives him the idea to enroll in sfit, san fransokyo institute of technology. and thus, begins his adventures and journeys at sfit.

one thing that wasn’t part of their plan was getting to know 8 other very different people. these are people they aren’t supposed to be seen with let alone falling in love with.
a fight, blackmail, detention, and a very excited drama teacher forces these 9 very different students to join their school spring musical.
along this journey, feelings are stirred, friendships are tested, drama is made; and the countdown to spring break has just begun!

"Why can't Gojo take her?" Megumi diverts, pointing at the other man. "He's known for picking up strays."
"Really, it's no trouble," Yuuji says sweetly. "We're happy to have her."
The last part is very much directed at Megumi, who is very much not happy to have her.
Even if he wanted to — which he doesn't — it wouldn't be an option logistically. Their house is the furthest thing from child proofed. They don't have a guest room set up. They don't have clothes for her. They don't even have an extra tooth brush. They simply cannot responsibly house a child.
But more damning than any logic — than any of his astute understanding of responsibility — is the fact that Megumi is stupid and hopelessly in love with his husband and probably indulges him more than he should. So when Yuuji makes his eyes go wide and pouts his lip just a little bit like he is right now, Megumi has been known to make incredibly dumb choices. Like, truly, monumentally stupid stuff. Tim blinked. Once, twice. Waiting for the hallucination to dissolve, waiting for it to be the fatigue, the stress, the unresolved grief, or a cruel joke from his own treacherous mind projecting his deepest desires onto the cold glass.
