Summary
2 years ago, Ohm and Nanon were on top of the world. Bad Buddy was a hit, fans worshipped them, and GMMTV treated them like royalty. Then, everything went to shit, and Ohm seems to think it was all Nanon's fault.
What actually went down remains a mystery - only the two of them know the full story, but what’s clear is that the rift between them seems too deep to repair. Nanon’s now dating Janhae, trying to rebuild his life after the madness while also being heartbroken as he faces an imminent lawsuit against his former manager and family friend.
Meanwhile, Ohm is basking, seemingly unbothered in the success of his new series, Kidnap, alongside his new co-star, Leng - and it looks like he and Nanon never even happened. But then, everything changes. They’re both called into a meeting, and P’Tha drops a bombshell: to celebrate GMMTV’s 30th anniversary, a documentary about the company and their most successful series is in the works—Bad Buddy is at the top of the list, and the CEO insists that Ohm and Nanon work together on this high-profile project. With all the tension simmering beneath the surface - Nanon’s anger barely contained and Ohm’s apparent indifference—what could possibly go wrong?

You don’t need to know how much I cried reading this whole fic up to this chapter, but I’ll tell you anyway. THIS WHOLE THING BROKE MY HEART SO MANY TIMES :( I loved how you portrayed Ohm and Nanon, flawed, yet so incredibly special together. I wanted to scream at so many scenes, especially when we saw Ohm crumbling bit by bit every time he let his world revolve around Nanon, only to end up as the second choice again and again… and realizing that Nanon did this despite loving him so much? That really hurts. :(
I just wanted to give both of them big hugs (and slaps on the head too def), but especially Ohm in this fic… The way he had to go through most of the hell alone because of all the misunderstandings about him, even from some of the people within their inner circle, like Off and Tay, simply because Nanon kept quiet… That broke me. And when he finally let out everything he had been holding in, in the bathroom? That shattered me.
I also hate how much Ohm is always there for him, even when they are apart and on bad terms. How he calmed him down during his panic attack, how he picked him up from the bar, how he spoke about Nanon in the project interview… He was always there, caring for him at Nanon’s lowest, even when they weren’t fine, even when they thought they hated each other. (I won’t even count the times he was there during the good moments.) You can especially feel his respect for Nanon at the project, and that's one of the details I loved that you put because it's so obvious in real life too... (And the way you kinda hinted that he also feels inferior to Nanon in terms of talent, which hurts me cuz it kind of feels like that in real life too when he shouldn't feel inferior at all :( but that doesn’t make him envious, just… adore him more :( ) But Nanon keeps forgetting this and acts like he doesn’t owe Ohm anything, as if Janhae was the only one who stood by him at his lowest and deserves everything he can give her. But Ohm was always there too??
You even realized it yourself, Nanon, that Ohm constantly fights for the two of you, yet you still don’t consider that he also deserves everything you can give? It’s like when it comes to Janhae, everything Ohm has done for him gets pushed to the back of his mind, and he acts like only she was there for him, never Ohm. As if she is this "responsibility," like he’s her knight or something… It’s frustrating how quickly he pushes Ohm into second place, and that’s exactly why I think Ohm was right when he finally snapped and thought, "I’m always the second." He doesn’t deserve that. It also hurts to see he did this about different people too in the past, put Ohm second just because of his own feelings for him, making Ohm feel like shit in the process.
It also hurt so much to see how Ohm was always ready to be with Nanon, time after time, yet Nanon still wouldn’t accept his feelings and instead chose Janhae, as if hurting Janhae was unacceptable but hurting Ohm was fine. As if Janhae couldn’t live without him, but Ohm could? Well, I loved how Janhae spoke exactly what I had been thinking, she is fine without him, she can live because she is not dependent on him.
Normally, I can never take sides between Ohm and Nanon, whether in fics or real life, but in this one, I couldn’t help but feel that Ohm was constantly in the right. I still love both of them, and Nanon is bullshitting when he says, “I don’t deserve him.” Well, maybe not right now, after breaking him like this, but in general, you definitely do deserve him, you just need to stop crying and actually take responsibility for Ohm, for once. Not for anyone else. Take action, my friend. Just make things right.
You two so obviously belong together that it hurts just reading it. And I hope Ohm doesn’t forgive you right away, you need to put in real effort this time to earn back his trust because you’ve broken it so many times already. Ohm shouldn’t give in so easily, like he did when you were with Janhae. I loved how he asked, “Are you with her right now?” the last time Nanon tried to talk to him, and when Nanon said that he still was, Ohm shut him off. Ohm should’ve asked the same question and shut him off at the beginning of those 18 days, but back then, we knew he was just desperate to have Nanon. :’)
It hurts that he knew Nanon would leave him, that he would choose Janhae over him, and yet he still chose to indulge… It was wrong of Ohm too, but it hurts how desperate he was for Nanon. :(
I also love how many details you included from their real lives, like Butterfly Effect, the Kwan scandal, Ohm’s racing, etc. There’s so much that doesn’t come to my mind right now, but believe me, I could pick apart every single one of them and really enjoyed it

Dizide bizimkilerin verdiği o sana doğrudan geçen derin duygusal altyapıyı ve ağır özlem/arzuyu almış resmen kaleme dökmüş. Senaryoda görmediğimiz gerilimi, çok daha yoğun bi şekilde sadece yazıyla verebilmiş. Aşırı keyif aldım okurken, her paragrafta ss alasım geldi. Ficin bu ağırlığının çalışmasını ister istemez ohm ve nanonun oyunculuğunun inandırıcılığına ve pat pran karakterlerinin gerçekçiliğine borçlu ama jonadio fici gibi bi yandan da. Patpran'i caejose'ye çok benzetirdim, alıp jonadio yapmış kısaca :D Müthiş bi karma tam benlik
