i’ll randomly come back to this and just reread chapter 11-23 cuz the smut and angst are Just SO GOOODDD UGHH
alfred chapters 20-23 actually had my heart breaking😭 i wish we’d gotten ivan’s pov too cuz ik he was STRUGGLING without his little femboy
i was stuck at my grandmas house with no wifi and i was on chapter 16 and i was scared to click on the next chapter cuz then i would lose the tab so i reread chapter 16 like 10 times a day for 2 weeks and it was such a healing experience

i was skeptical of reading at first cuz i saw there was a usuk side plot and that’s really not my thing, but then i was up at 4 in the morning and decided to give in and read it anyway and i WAS SO SURPRISED AT HOW PEAK IT WAS
france and england are literally so perfect for each other and this fic showed that so well, when france knew all englands songs and the whole “what do you do when you listen to music?”
the rusame was also the best thing ever and how alfred didn’t even realize he was having an affair and how he was favoring ivan before he even realized it😭 i want the rusame pov of this really really really bad

OMG THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE HETALIA FANFICS EVER
there’s such a great mix of fluff, smut, and angst and there’s so much hurt that anytime they actually love each other it hurts too
1933 actually had me crying “Kiss me one last time for the road.” DONT EVEN JOKE💔 this entire fic was pulling at my heartstrings so cruelly but i loved it all the same
i thought it was odd how anti bolshevik some of the chapters felt but yk everybody has different opinions and i can’t really be talking since i laughed, gooned, and cried to this fic snd love it with my whole soul🥹
