Summary
Heresy. Heresy. Heresy. Shut up. Shut up. That viperous anger surged again in his chest, hot and jagged. He couldn’t stand it. Repulsive. Despicable. If he would will it, he’d claw into the soft of their throats, past the musculature, to pierce the eyes of the red devilish serpents intertwining their viscera, and watch them wither and choke on their own hungry tongues. They’d flail on the ground, groaning and wheezing, with a cry as piercing as the cry of a newborn lamb thrust onto dried bushels of twig and grass, yet still and silent, enveloped into the hold of night.
God, what does that matter now? Anger, just as quickly as it had stepped into the light, was quickly vanquished by shame. They sent him to war. They sent him to die. Twenty-four hours? What a joke. They are sending him to an impossible battlefield, one they know he will not return from. Ha. Gabriel's hands itched to feel something from his still-beating heart.

Mankind is dead. Blood is fuel. Hell is full. Oh, fuck it, Gabriel is beautiful.
Gabriel and V1, starting from the end.
When Gabriel reads between the lines, V1 is indistinguishable from his own being: intertwined, like stanzas composing a great masterpiece of a poem.

The gnashing of teeth cannot compare to the ravenous maw
