Summary
Jared keeps finding little boxes in his mailbox and even at his door with, what appear to be, hand-made Christmas tree ornaments. He figures out that they are tokens from his hot and painfully shy neighbor across the hall from his apartment; Jensen. They soon realize that they are just what was missing in each other's lives both to love and help heal from past hurt, as they get to know each other this Christmas season.

Summary
After a long week Jared and Jensen go out for a couple of drinks together when they get separated and a stranger takes advantage of Jensen, leaving Jared terrified and feeling like the guilt over not being able to stop the assault on his friend is eating away at him. As they're left trying to piece their joint little world back together again they find themselves having to face what their relationship has slowly become... And is Jensen truly out of danger?

Jared wakes up alone in his hotel room, mind on overdrive and he can't fall back asleep. Suddenly his anxiety takes the form of worrying about Jensen and he can't help it, he just has to see for himself that he's okay.
Gen but can be read as established relationship J2, if you let your imagination wander a bit.
