Summary
To anyone watching, Sunoo and Riki are just two strangers whose paths run parallel, but never quite intersect.
But beneath Sunoo’s hoodie sleeve, invisible to everyone but him, a thin red string glows softly at his wrist. It winds off into the air, tangled and taut, disappearing into the distance. When Riki lifts his arm as he warms up for practice, the red string wrapped around his left wrist glints faintly under the sun.
Sunoo and Riki pretend not to notice the thread tying them together. Sunoo, still healing from a painful past, avoids the risk of being loved. Riki, quietly certain of his feelings, waits patiently in the silence between them.

Sunoo never gave much thought to his secondary gender. Modern day society has no place for archaic biological stereotypes- the socially acceptable thing to do is start suppressants as soon as you present, so that’s exactly what he does. He goes about his daily life forgetting his inner omega is there at all, just like the rest of the world.
However, when filming goes rouge in a bad storm, the group is suddenly forced to learn more about their secondary genders than they ever thought was possible- like the fact that Jake’s omega gets territorial about where he puts his sleeping bag, or that Sunghoon’s beta gets nervous when the whole pack isn’t home before dark, or that Jungwon’s alpha can’t sleep unless everyone else has dozed off.
Or that Riki’s alpha likes Sunoo’s omega.
