Karl Jacobs was leaning on his friend, red cup in hand, laughing happily. Sapnap didn’t know him then, didn’t know his name or anything about him, except his laugh and smile and purple sweater. He sat up, struggling to balance. Dream’s laughter cut through, interrupting Karl in Sapnap’s mind, and he clumsily hit Dream on the mouth to shut up.
“What is it?” Dream asked, grabbing Sapnap’s shoulder to keep him up.

God, no, Joseph wasn’t going to watch this. He wasn’t going to watch Caesar do his romantic thing with some random woman. It would be boring. Joseph shook his head and placed his hands on the windowsill, gripping it and pushing himself back with shaky arms. This could go on for hours, all of it disgustingly lame, he should… He should go. He should’ve gone.
