Summary
“Ku-kun,” Ezaki’s voice lifts, “You’ll research flower language for me in exchange for this bouquet, won’t you?”
Ku doesn’t need to crack a book’s spine to know what a bouquet means. He isn’t that dumb. He’s watched TV; he had a mother who mingled with men once upon a time. He knows flowers make people swoon and giggle. He knows receiving one is usually followed by a kiss. Lips on cheek, or lips on nose, or lips on lips. It doesn’t take a genius to get that.
OR: It's the most romantic day of the year, and Ku receives a gift.

Summary
When the Founder scrambles to his side, Teko assumes he’s about to receive a half-dead flower. Or a cicada. Or a geode with a colourful centre. Something material and useless to their effort.
Instead, all he feels is a warm pressure cascading over his hands and the tune of a rosy sentence:“Teko, let's go to the ocean!”
OR:
The Founder wants to swim in the sea, and she drags her second-in-command to join her (she lets a little secret off her chest, too). -

Summary
Rei offers no resistance besides rigidness and a gasp. Even when Ezaki settles on top of her pelvis, all she senses is Rei’s thighs tightening beside her hips – fear emanating from her like a foul stink.
With no proof that Rei is going to contest her, Ezaki represses an urge to grind in her lap. Maybe it’ll cause Rei to jump, or kick, or oppose her in some capacity. But she elects against it because she already knows the answer.A smile crawls onto her face, satisfied in knowing, “Ku-kun really likes you, did you know that?”
OR:
Ezaki attempts to unearth what makes Rei so appealing to Teko and Ku. -

Summary
Her fingers dig into the dog’s head desperately, but there’s still a caring edge in it. Almost like a parent clawing at a headstone. She appears so much smaller on the ground, huddled alongside a dead animal.
It’s child-like, disgustingly innocent. The knife in Teko’s chest twists again, but this time it’s deeper. It feels rawer, it feels red.He sucks in a dry breath, “You think just like them, don’t you?”
OR:
Teko and the Founder bury a deceased dog.
