Summary
Six months after the Giant War. Percy and Annabeth are living in New York City. They’re recovering. It’s slow. And nonlinear. They’re figuring out how to be teenagers and war veterans. There’s normal teenager stuff — school and sex and, thank Sally Jackson (because it definitely ain’t the gods), therapy. There’s the other stuff too. The things that make them sleep in shifts and have trouble leaving the apartment.
You’re in for some angst, some comfort, some recovery and domesticity, and a fuck ton of me trying to write and Percy and Annabeth saying “screw whatever you were doing, we’re gonna be cute goofballs instead.”
*Set in the After the Ascent Universe but could be read alone

“Put your arm around my neck,” he said, and Annabeth frowned, confused, but did as he said, and a moment later, she was lifted in the air, one of his arms in the crook of her knees and the other behind her back.
“Percy!” she gasped, tightening her grip on him. “What are you doing?”
“I can tell that your shoes are making your feet hurt,” he shrugged. “I can carry you so why wouldn’t I?” Annabeth felt her skin heat up, and she leaned in to kiss his cheek, leaving behind a slight stain of her lip gloss. She didn’t think he’d mind.

Annabeth deserves Princess treatment and Percy is going to give it to her.

Annabeth's architecture firm had her on some strict deadline for a proposal that needed to be flawless. She was due for a promotion soon, to be sure. She was also due to stand up, use the bathroom, and eat something. Annabeth sat down the moment she got home at five and barely moved in two hours. Percy was tired of watching her ignore her own needs. But there was an easy solution.
He picked up the little pink toy they kept in her nightstand. It only when someone used the remote. The remote was in Percy’s bedside drawer.

Annabeth has been working hard and working late trying to earn a promotion. But she often forgets about her physical needs when she gets sucked into work. Percy comes up with a fun way to remind her when its time to take breaks and to teach her the value of self care.Series
