“I love you.” Ryomen says, as Toji steps out the door. “Stay safe.”
Toji doesn’t say it back.
“I will.” He murmurs, instead, and lets the door swing shut behind them with a gentle creak of old wood.
Outside, there’s a window fitted in at the end of the apartment hallway. When Toji presses his forehead to it, Tokyo looks like a city on fire.

Summary
Suguru basks in it for a moment, content, before movement at the bottom of the ravine leading up to the encampment catches his eye. A lone rider is loping their way, riding their horse in an unhurried trot.
Still little more than a splash of black against the shadowy desert floor, Suguru feels a shiver crawl up his spine. The rider, as if sensing they're being watched, stops. From this far away, Suguru can't see their eyes, but he can feel the way they sear into his skin.
A black hat slides off the head, silver-white hair shining even in the sparse light of predawn. It could be anyone, but somehow, Suguru knows exactly who that head of hair belongs to.
Gojo Satoru has found them at last.

Toji wholeheartedly thinks he might kill him on the spot.
At least this way, he can drop the bar on Sukuna’s head a little bit easier, gasp and clutch his pearls when the gym staff accuse him of violence towards another member and Yuki refuses to bail him out. ”Fine.”

"Um. Maybe I'd, uhm." Toji's hand swirled in the air in smooth ovals and then figure eights, "I'd..." He smiled widely, his neck flushing under the collar of his thrifted coat.
"Oh, you're sick." Sukuna let out a heavy breath that he played off as laughter, "C'mon, tell me."
Toji's eyes drifted down to the broken fly of Sukunas jeans, "I'd mark my territory."
Or, Toji and Sukuna hike together. They talk about what they'd do if given the opportunity.
