Quietly, he moves around the rows of bookshelves, flicking on different lamps and lighting a few candles. Rounding the back corner Namjoon gasps when he finds someone huddled up on the floor.
Pressed in the corner, against a few books stacked on the ground and a teddy bear that Namjoon had placed in a different corner for pups to lean on while they read, is a full grown man.
He inhales his shock quickly, only then noting the way his nostrils flood with the scent of an omega in heat.
Or... omega Hoseok tried getting home before his heat started but didn’t make it and ended up stumbling into Namjoon's bookshop and cuddled himself into a corner to nap. Bonus points for beta Namjoon not entirely knowing what to do because he’s never been with an omega and doesn’t want to spook him.

Summary
Hair that was all wild and loose before, now in a perfect, intricate braid falling down his shoulder, over the new robes with the beautiful golden ornaments all over it. Cleaned and warmed up, Yoongi already looks much more lively, and his wounds have vanished almost entirely save for the one over his right brow and down his cheek. Not that this could take any focus away from the sheer fierceness of his sharp eyeshape, now accentuated by the soft black line around it, or the way his petal lips are very, very distractingly pink now.
If utterly naked and put through a fight for his life his presence had already been commanding enough to lure Hoseok in, then right now, like this, it's nothing but grandiose. Painstakingly obvious that he has to be royalty as well, but even if he weren't, Hoseok would want to worship the ground he walks on.

Summary
It’s not that Hoseok is any stranger to going against the law, he’s a prostitute for God’s sake, he breaks rules every day, but he’s worked hard to avoid getting tangled up in the darkest parts of Seoul. He knows the streets are teeming with gangs and ill-motivated organizations, but once you pledge yourself there’s no going back. You mess with the wrong people even just once and you can be resigned to a fate worse than death.
“I hope you understand, there aren’t other options for you, Hoseok,” Yoongi’s eyes darken, narrowing with the intensity of his frown.
“What - what if I say no?” Hoseok raises his chin once more. His fingernails, already chewed down to close cut nubs, grate at the arms of the chair uselessly. It hurts him more than anything else.
“What kind of precedent would I be setting if I allowed people to say no to me?” Yoongi pushes a hand through Hoseok’s hair and forces his chin up further. “I’ll kill you.”

Or, the one where Hoseok puts his trust in the wrong people and ends up paying the price, but discovers the fine line between righteous and corrupt might not be where he thinks it is.
