Summary
The knife had slipped from his grasp, and he’d closed his eyes. When he opened them again, Gi-hun was kneeling next to him. He’d studied Sang-woo for a moment, eyes roaming his bloody shirt, from his red hand to the cut in his cheek. Then he’d put his hands around Sang-woo’s shoulder, helped him sit up, and muttered, “Come on. Let’s go home.”
He couldn’t say no to him, not after everything. Sang-woo could never say no to him, which is precisely the reason he’s been avoiding him for decades.
Sang-woo and Gi-hun cross paths at a church, once before entering the games and again after leaving them together.
