You consider their question.
About a month ago, this young little thing ducked into your room, clueless as all hell. That was always the hardest part. But, you know, three's a crowd. Filigree pressed its face up against the vent for the first time in its life. You're pretty sure it's seen just about as much of that place as you have. Neither of you had ever seen this. For the first time in a while, you wished you were dead.
You shake your head.
You didn't believe you were still alive. It's starting to feel a little more real every day. And you swear to god these are the last scars you'll ever get.

Frisk’s eyes lit up. They hurriedly offered one to Flowey, on their tippy-toes to reach him.
There were many things Flowey didn’t understand. Things that made his insides twist up and his outsides look angry and dejected.
Really, to die alongside your best friend is such a hateful way to go.

Summary
"Hey, darling, I made you breakfast," was all he said. He didn't have to add the "I know you're depressed right now and it would be nice if you actually ate something", she knew it was there. Mettaton knew Alphys like he knew Chicago's whole book; that was, front to back. She mustered up a quick "you didn't have to" before he began his descent down the conveyor.
"Got a tight filming schedule today. You know how it is." She knew. "Toodles," and Mettaton was out the door.
Mettaton cooked for her more often than he talked to her, nowadays. She thought of the basement and the letters quickly piling up the space he used to keep his videos and the pancakes started to smell a lot less like pancakes and a lot more like rot.

Wherein Mettaton's habbits remain despite the horrible distance between him and Alphys, and Alphys keeps on livin'.

This was the first time she'd be showering in a week, the first time she'd gone this long without showering in months.
Sayori didn't really know what to think.
"Um, okay. Sayori," Yuri tried, tugging on her hair. The mannerisms that confirmed it was Yuri, in the flesh, still haunting Sayori's bathroom. "Please, uuh, undress."
That one knocked Sayori's consciousness around a bit, and the fog tickled her skull.
"Jeez, Yuri, at least take me out to dinner first," She snickered, playfully dull. Hoisting herself up was like raising the dead, but she did it anyway, because Yuri was waiting.
And so, Sayori ditched her clothing, of course.
