“If I had,” Chris lingers on the words, watching Eddie intently through the screen, “If I had conditions?”
Eddie feels his stomach knot up. It’s the first time Chris has ever alluded to a willingness to come home. Usually he just shoots Eddie down with a flat “I know” before hurrying off the call. Eddie Diaz will be damned before he lets this chance slip through his hands.
“Anything,” his voice rings with desperation in his own ears, “Whatever you need to feel ready to come home. If I can make it happen, I will.”
Chris eyes him, young face serious as a judge presiding over trial. An apt comparison because only Chris could condemn or parole Eddie. His fate is in his son’s hands so completely that if he was going to therapy, Frank would probably be concerned. Finally, Chris opens his mouth and says something so earth shattering as to crack the foundations of his father’s mind.
“Marry Buck,” Chris says firmly.

The credits had just begun to roll when Eddie noticed Buck playing with the hem of his dress, fingers grazing his thigh every couple of seconds, sending sparks through his skin. Eddie turned to face him, finding Buck staring down to where he was fiddling with the fabric.
A shiver went through Eddie as Buck’s fingers grazed his thigh again and Eddie nervously blurted, “What are you doing?”
Buck’s eyes flicked up to meet Eddie’s, looking slightly surprised, like he hadn’t been fully aware of his own actions.
“Nothing, you just– you look really pretty,” his fingers continued toying with the material as he spoke and Eddie felt his cheeks burn.

It’s bliss. No other way to describe it, because words are lacking from Eddie’s mind when Buck urges him backwards until his butt meets the cold edge of the sink, their lips caught in a dance, their tongues in a fight, their breaths mingling.
Buck’s mouth moves to his neck, peppering kisses down to his collar, and Eddie throws his head back, buries his fingers in Buck’s lush curls while Buck’s hands are tight on his waist, each of them holding the other in place. Moans are stifled, satisfied groans, and there’s only the sound of their heavy breaths echoing from the tiles, accompanied by the music coming in through the door and the sound of Buck’s lips moving over Eddie’s skin.
Until the doorknob twists.or the one where Buck and Eddie have been sneaking around for three months.
