"That break-up broke both of us, Karl." He muttered, turning to face the timid brunette sitting beside him, his legs dangling over the roof carelessly as he watched the sun set.
"I know" Was the murmured response, his sharp glare not being met.
"I don't know where you got that photo," He spoke, standing and turning to watch a bright sun dip behind skyscrapers where it resided for the night before showing up the next morning as if it'd never left. "But I didn't cheat."
