“Forget it.” She ducked around him, holding her hand out for a passing cab.
“No, I can… I can be your date.” Anthony said, waving to the cab driver as he pulled up. “Just a second mate.”
“We don’t need a second.” Kate said to the driver. She turned to Anthony, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Oh, yeah. Great, you’ll be my date will you?”
