Summary
"Galinda?"
From her bed, Galinda hums in answer before lifting her eyes from her magazine. She's very surprised to see Elphie sitting behind her vanity—her brain can't seem to help itself from thinking pink goes so good with green!—and most of all, looking at herself in the mirror some type of way; a very attentive type of way.
"What does it feel like?" Elphie asks.
"What?"
"To be wanted."

Summary
["Pfannee," She starts, already mildly regretting it. Galinda bows her head and clears her throat gently. "Have you— Do you ever...? Do you think it's..." Galinda looks around, what if someone hears? She leans closer to Pfannee, "Do you think it's forbidden?"
Pfannee's eyebrows are pulled together as he frowns. "What is?" He gives Galinda a once over. "I'm not sure fashion impeccability begets criminal activity."
Galinda exhales deeply. "What do you do when you want to have sex but you have no one to do it with?"
Pfannee's features soothe into understanding, his lips forming a perfect O shape. "Oh my Oz, you want to talk about this with me? I— Galinda this is such an honor."]
or: Galinda decides to see if she feels something else for Elphie and gets caught doing so; chaos ensues.

Summary
Elphaba, like a scared kitten, gets on Galinda's bed and sits beside her where she rests her back on the headboard. She watches as Elphaba tests the mattress—
"Very comfortable."
Galinda hums, a little amused but also saddened that this might be the first time in a long time that Elphaba has a bed.
"Do you want to... sleep?" A beat. "Don't look at me like that, Elphie. It was just an offer."Elphaba smiles at her. But doesn't accept nor refuse it—Galinda's hope is already building inside of her in the form of a little spark in her chest, imagining her and Elphaba sharing a bed again and sleeping together; perhaps Galinda will finally feel safe to fully submerge to slumber with her there.

Summary
[But hope is irrational like that. Volatile, unpredictable, and, unfortunately for an optimistic girl like her, addicting.
She hoped for an out-of-the-blue invitation to another movie, pretending that little upwards pull of the side of Elphaba's lips meant something else along with rejection—disappointment that she had to turn Galinda's invitation down.
She imagined herself picking up her phone distractedly and going completely still, butterflies swirling in her stomach as she read and reread a message from Elphaba explaining the rejection and why she hadn't even given one when Galinda asked if she was going or not. Then, the offer: how about we go watch this one? It wasn't too out there since the class is all in a message group together.]
or: Elphaba is Galinda's language professor and she's having a hard time because of it.

Summary
"Shouldn’t you be ensnaring some hapless lord into an ill-fated proposal?"
Cressida narrowed her eyes, but there was a flicker of amusement behind them. "Perhaps I wanted a moment to myself. Even the most perfect of debutantes require a reprieve from their adoring public."
"Perfect? Is that what you think you are?" Eloise said, leaning on the marble pillar beside her.
"It’s what I must be," Cressida replied, her voice quieter now, almost as though she was speaking more to herself than to Eloise. "Perfection is the only thing society rewards. And anything less… well, it’s unforgivable, isn’t it?"
Eloise blinked, caught off guard by the sudden vulnerability in her tone. She opened her mouth to respond but closed it again, unsure of what to say.

Summary
“You seem to know exactly what to do with me—make me the subject of your witticisms and hope I’ll be too slow-witted to notice.”
A spark of irritation flared in Cressida’s eyes, but she hid it behind a delicate laugh. “I’m merely being friendly, Miss Bridgerton. It’s not my fault if you mistake kindness for sport.”
“Of course,” Eloise replied, her tone light but her eyes sharp. “And I suppose it’s not your fault either that your kindness always comes at someone else’s expense.”
Cressida’s smile tightened, and for a moment, they stood in a standoff, a silent battle waged in the language of polite society. Eloise felt a thrill of victory, but she knew better than to let her guard down. Cressida was as much a predator as she was a peacock, and Eloise had no intention of becoming her next meal.

Summary
Her eyes were caught by a magnificent straw blonde colored hair – shining with sunlight as the lean figure rested against the trunk of the tree. The figure was turned away, wearing a white thin summer dress that would surely be inappropriate if they were not secluded.
It certainly took her breath away.

Summary
“I can’t believe that you truly assumed you bedding—”
“Kissing!” Eloise interjected, hardly able to hide her blush.
“—kissing Cressida Cowper was going to somehow break the spell.” Benedict took a drag of the cigarette, rolling his eyes, “It is so like you to think you’ve found the answer and then to act hastily like you’re God’s own servant on earth and everything you do has some type of higher importance.”
Eloise smirked, “Did we not just establish that I am the sole person experiencing an otherworldly phenomenon? I think that entitles me to believe that my actions are important.”
OR
Eloise keeps living the same day—the day of Colin and Penelope’s engagement party—over and over again. Breaking the chain feels impossible, but Eloise knows returning to normalcy involves at least two things: making peace with Penelope, and finally figuring out how to accept a part of herself she’d long hidden away… the part of herself that longs for one Cressida Cowper.
