Patroclus went on his Knees in front of him, his hands going up in a stance of prayer, the nymph was pleased his grin only beamed at how clearly this poor thing was scared of him, yet still loyal to the gods, old and new.
“Please..” the mortal whispered “ what is your name my lord, so I will know the god that came to the lands of opus.” his whispers were so much slower, and yet it only made the nymph scoff and smile before lifting the pretty face to look him in the eyes.
“ Achilles, son of Thetis, prince of Phthia.”
tldr: Achilles is a god and he wants to be recognized and worshipped, he met Patroclus who became his first devotee.
