Prompt:
Everyone knows that Cable is GI Jesus, weight of the world on his brawny shoulders, etc, etc.I'd like to see some self-sacrificing Wade. I mean, this is a guy who blew off his own head, twice in C&DP, to prevent others from using him as a weapon. Make it hurt Anon, make it hurt.
Bonus if no one realizes what Wade did and still blames him because Deadpool is the whipping boy of the Marvel-verse.

It is the winter of 1852 and Erik is beginning to unravel.
Or: How Nadir saves Erik from himself.(Very) loosely based on Kay's book; Erik was rescued by Professor Guizot when the fair he in which he was imprisoned passed through Paris. He bought him his freedom, both from the fair and from his mother, and brought him up, educating him as they travelled around Europe.
But the effects of being abused as a child and then displayed as a freak are long-lasting.

Following the events in Season 10, Mulder is sick and Scully wants to find William to save him. But when a bewildered Alex Krycek, apparently resurrected nearly fifteen years after his death, seeks them out and claims to have knowledge of their son's whereabouts, they have to decide whether to trust him, while dealing with his murderous past and his complex relationship with Mulder.
