I'm beginning to work on the sequel for this (based on Aladdin), and am currently going through this work to tweak some aspects. No plot points are changing. Just smoothing out some logic/emotional transitions and making the magic system slightly clearer in the earlier chapters.

This was bad. Her thoughts were hard to make out with the pain in her head. The last thing she remembered clearly was the stage and then Harley and Peter trying to grab for her. Something had to happen in between then and now, that led her to being dropped on a rooftop.
She padded her pockets down and cursed when she realized she didn’t have her phone. Any chance of using the emergency credit card she kept slipped inside the case was lost with it. Only her Stark Watch remained, though severely cracked. When she touched its screen, nothing happened. She’d need to find another way to get in touch with her family.
