Summary
After getting out of prison, Mayfeld had managed to lay low, taking work where he could get it and keeping his head down. Just when everything seemed to be getting back to normal, chaos is reintroduced into his life via the beskar-wearing badass.
Mando offers him a job, which Mayfeld takes, perhaps against his better judgement. From there, the cozy fabric of his existence starts to unravel as he learns things about both himself and the Mandalorian that he couldn't even dream up. The two of them grow closer and feelings develop as they face danger, complete missions, and even encounter some unexpected faces as they forge their way through the galaxy as an unlikely team.
Though their partnership seems to be a positive thing, Mayfeld begins to think that there’s something bigger going on. Was there some hidden motive that drove Mando to find him? Or was the force at work in bringing them together? As in all things, the truth tends to make itself known eventually.

Summary
Din is the new, proud owner of an ancient laser sword that makes him the ruler of a people he hardly knows. Boba is the replacement for a corrupt, despicable crime lord on the dusty planet of Tatooine. Both men now have too many people to take care of, and absolutely no way to do it on their own. They need help, and quickly.
Din hears that the new daimyo of Tatooine is a gracious leader who might be willing to house the ever-growing population of Mandalorians flocking to the new Mand'alor. Boba hears that the Mand'alor wants to provide muscle to back up his newly acquired dominion in exchange for asylum. It all seems too good to be true, looking at it on paper.
The only problem was that the New Republic wouldn’t allow a massive migration of deadly warriors without taking interest, especially considering that Tatooine was outside of their jurisdiction.
The solution? A marriage contract between both parties approved by the New Republic, of course.

Summary
Echo is new to the Bad Batch, and does everything in his power to avoid burdening the others. Even when it comes down to his life. He doesn’t want them to have a reason to kick him out—he just wants somewhere to belong again.
Hunter catches a scent that he’s never encountered before, following the squad’s most recent mission. It isn’t quite blood, but whatever it is, it doesn’t smell right. That, mixed with the overwhelming feeling of discordant electromagnetic waves, makes Hunter think that something is severely wrong. He just hopes that their newest member is alright. After all, Hunter hadn’t felt this way about anyone else in his entire life. It would be a shame to lose the incredible ARC so soon.
OR
Echo has incredibly poor luck, and is always getting hurt. Luckily, he has Hunter and the rest of the Bad Batch looking out for him.

Summary
Baptiste is quiet even though Mauga knows he isn’t sleeping. There’s an anxiety threaded through his scent that Mauga can’t entirely place. He knows what Baptiste’s pain smells like, the discomfort that settles in him when he is injured. The bullet wound in his arm is the least of the things bothering him.
A pair of civilians had gotten caught in the line of fire that night. It was nothing in the grand scheme of things, Talon has been tearing through cities all over the globe with no concern over collateral damage, but Baptiste hasn’t been the same since Monte Cristi— when Mauga found him at the docks looking haunted.
Looking ready to run. As though escaping Talon would do something to wash away the blood on their hands.
As though it hadn’t soaked down into their bones already and colored everything that they were in shades of brilliant red.

The two of them are pulled tight and held fast against the rocks, their limbs pinned at their sides by slippery, muscular appendages—okay, they’re karkin’ tentacles, as much as Migs would like to deny that reality.
Migs laughs in disbelief. “Hey, I know what this is! Ever heard of a selenome? It’s a colony organism like coral.”
Din is struggling vainly in the grip of the tentacles. “We can skip the biology lesson! How do we kill it?”
“That’s the good news: we can’t, but we’re not gonna die—as long as we get out of here before the next tidal wave. It feeds on—um, well…I guess you could say ‘life essence’?”
“Mayfeld…” Din gives him a warning look, like he’s barely keeping it together.
Migs sighs. He raised his eyes to the sky, not looking at Din when he says, “It eats cum, okay?” He closes his eyes and listens to Din sputtering, starting and failing to speak several times.
Din finally settles on, “What?”
