Summary
One day Tobias Snape comes home from work angry and drunk, to make his mood worse he sees his 3 year old son Severus doing something that is forbidden in his house. In his inebriated state, Tobias directed his fury towards his son and wife, Eileen. As Tobias eventually collapsed, passed out from the excess of alcohol, Eileen wastes no time in packing up their belongings and escaping with Severus.
Adjusting to their new life posed its difficulties for Eileen, but with perseverance, she began to find her footing. Severus thrives in his new environment and makes friends. Eileen even catches the eye of an old schoolmate, the only problem, his harpy of a wife.

Summary
