“I love you.”
The words spoken aren’t dead-pan at all like Al-Haitham’s usual cadence is. They’re spoken with more heart than anything Kaveh has ever heard come from his mouth. There’s more emotion in each syllable than Kaveh would’ve expected to hear from such an unfeeling man. The fondness is almost palpable; and so are the nerves.
Kaveh stares down at his junior in mostly surprise. He hadn’t expected him to say that. Al-Haitham loves him? That doesn’t make any sense. All they do is argue, how could Al-Haitham love him?

I hope that your day goes well today.” After Akito was silent for a beat too long, Haruka looked over to see his face was a mix of embarrassed and shameful. “Ah, thank you, Haruka... though I can’t say I even remembered today was my birthday.”
“Oh, really?” She replies, though her pace hasn't slowed. “I can’t say that hasn’t happened to me before either,” she laughs a bit. “Though I imagine your partners haven’t forgotten.”

Toya couldn't say what time it was, late enough that the majority of the Shiraishi house was asleep. He was staying with An this weekend. His parents had been particularly painful to stay with, especially since their anniversary was next week and his brother's had come home. Toya needed to breathe for a couple days before he was going to die around such insufferable people.

Summary
The first thing Akito realized when he woke up was a wave of nausea rising in his throat from his stomach. He groaned in agony as if it would make it disappear through his throat.
Akito whined as he tried to get up but sent sparks of fire through his veins, promptly pinning him to the bed. His limbs all felt heavy like they were made of lead that had been tied to a brick beneath his mattress. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance since that’s all his body’s mobility would allow from him.

Summary
“I’m home,” Akito called out from closing the door. He only really said it as a habit. They had won an event the night previous that they were preparing months for, so they all insisted they all have a short break from such intense practices. They all pushed for Akito to relent too.
“It can only be a week— Or even just a few days! We did so well, we deserve a treat!” An enthused. Akito groaned, “That’s too long. We’ll all forget how to sing by the end of the week.” Toya laughed at his antics though. “We can practice extra if we’re really that rusty by the end of the week. I don’t think we will though,” Toya thought.
“It’s been awhile since we’ve had a break anyways. Plus with the Spring break soon, it feels fitting.” Kohane hummed, and An gave an enthusiastic nod to her girlfriend. After a few more insults from his partners, all three of them offered to take him on a pancake date during the week off.
Akito decided they could all take a break.

Toya’s eyes narrowed at the very little amount of food. “Is that all?” he voiced, tone unnaturally neutral for when he was with Akito. “You usually eat a lot more.”
Akito shrugged, gaze still not meeting Toya’s. “Wasn’t too hungry today so I didn’t want to pack more than I’d eat,” He justified. Toya hummed, reluctantly accepting that answer. “I have some food I can offer if you want some,” he suggested.
Akito shook his head, “Nah, I’m good, just not hungry.”
