Summary
If you asked Donghyuck how he became friends with Mark, he'd say it was an accident. If you asked Mark how he became friends with Donghyuck, he'd say it was a coincidence. If you asked Jaemin - or any of their friends, for that matter - he'd say it was the universe's way of bringing destined souls together. Because from how fast they clicked, there is no way Mark and Donghyuck are anything but soulmates.
There´s only a little problem: Mark is a vampire and he is in love with his human best friend, Donghyuck. And maybe Mark is not dumb but he sure is dense as fuck. Trouble ensues.

Summary
We’re all born and we all die. It's the circle of life. Donghyuck knows this. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t slightly bitter when he found out his life was going to be cut short. Or maybe this was all the time he was given and it wasn’t cut short at all.
But Donghyuck's biggest fear is being forgotten.
He doesn't want to become a distorted face in Mark’s memories, the same way his parents are for him. So when he found out he was dying he created a bucket list of all the things he wanted to do with Mark.
So Mark wouldn’t forget him.

Donghyuck exhaled slowly, feeling the question settle heavy on his chest. He took another deep breath. “When you and Mark were together,” he began, choosing his words carefully, “did you ever feel like he thought he cared about you more than you cared about him?”

Summary
Dying was okay. It was not a good nor a bad thing, it was just okay.
All the pain would be gone, all the joy would be over… Dying was just the end and that was it, right?
The process of dying, on the other hand, was not that ‘okay’. It was sad and so painfully long, that sometimes it was worse than being alive.
The process of dying just made you wish for death.
“What are those things supposed to be?” Haechan whispered, cuddling into Mark’s chest.
“Amm, those are supposed to be stars” Mark answered in a whisper too, his voice lower than the boy next to him. “I painted ‘em for you.”
“They are horrible…” Haechan softly laughed. A big smile formed on his tiny face, suddenly feeling shy and with his heart beating so fast it would make Dr. Qian come to check on him at any minute. “I love them.”
