Popstar is quiet, pleasant. Until it's not.
Hailstorm, a powerful witch made of ice with lightning in her hands, sets her eyes on the planet. Freezing everything in her way and leaving a storm on her trail, Popstar is once again in danger.
It's nothing Dream Land can't survive, they've had worse. It's not a question on if they will recover, they will. It won't be long before Kirby and the Star Allies erase this whole mess, leaving it a anecdote in their history.
Magolor, however...
Well, Dream Land is protective of their own, a tight knit community forged through times of peace and crisis. But Magolor was never truly apart of Dream Land. So, he's on his own.
And that's okay, he didn't expect anything different.

Summary
Magolor, Marx and Taranza all find themselves in the realm of Hallows Edge, having been taken there by the Black Cat.
Without any other way home, they have to listen to her demands and play a game to go home. Traversing Hallows Edge, collecting candy and doing quests along the way as they visit each location in this strange world.
