After a mission gone wrong, the Wind Hashira winds up missing, and Genya has very little to say about it. It's not like it's his brother missing - Shianzugawa made that very clear - and Genya is more than happy to remain behind, maybe help the Butterfly Estate prepare for the rescue party's return. Instead, he finds himself convinced to go on mission he desperately does not want to go on, to save a man who he'd rather avoid, and to maybe find out who Genya Shinazugawa is without his brother along the way whether he wants to or not.

Till never uncovered the reason why he always felt coaxed or. . . something like that to give Ivan a straight answer upon the second, or even first, inquiry. It could’ve been because Ivan never laughed at him, but Till felt as if that wasn’t the reason. Sometimes, he found himself telling Ivan before he even asked. Sometimes, it wouldn’t be Ivan coming to Till, but Till sitting beside Ivan, alone. He’d plop down beside him, exhausted and worn, waiting a moment before letting the other boy remove the restraints against his mouth, and he’d take a deep, gasped breath. Ivan would never smile at him on those days. His eyes would carry something dark within them, as if he had been plotting some master plan. Or, just because he had been angry. As simple as that. It confused Till, because he always thought that Ivan was mad at him, but moments like these made Ivan seem like he was mad at Urak.
Till imagined they confused each other.

Inspired by @beddybites on Tumblr's "Pint Sized Hashira AU"
I discovered it and it gave me such mad cuteness aggression I HAD to write about it, you don't understand.
Basically, they got kidified, and now are a weird little family and are navigating what happens when you're suddenly in the body of a child with sometimes the brain of one.
They're all babies, I love them, and I will do anything for them, song pairing for this is "Time Stand Still" by Rush from their "Hold Your Fire" album.
