Summary
It's pretty clear that Ghost doesn't have a daemon - tragic, but somewhat understandable. Soap's bursting with questions, but this is the one topic he doesn't push on, more than used to daemons being a tender topic, taught by his own experiences. Besides, even without a daemon the other man proves himself as a wonderful partner, someone worth falling in love with even.
At least Soap thinks so before learning of Ghost's secret partner, just before the man asks him out on a date. Thinking Ghost is asking him to cheat, Soap rejects him immediately. Tensions are high until some things come to light during a very tense situation
or soap pines for ghost thinking ghost's daemon is his romantic partner. misunderstandings, prehistoric animals, and some badass scenes follow

This great very well written, also i was so confused on what a daemon was, i know what it is now, safe to say they're pretty frickin cool
