So when his caloused hand fits a little too fit on that white, silky royal hands, Hyunjin was afraid he had nothing to offer but his soul.
He didn't even remember what he did before baring himself (literally) to Lee Felix.
As his bodyguard, nothing more.
Yet he ate his young master's burnt cookie and the crumbs, stocking him some flour on the midnight without anyone's knowledge, and always making sure the young master has his seat set up on the right degree to avoid any back pain (he learned this before everyone else).
And Hyunjin didn't know what he was doing anymore because none of it feels like work.

Summary
With a human for a father and a goddess for a mother, Hwang Hyunjin treads with one foot on ocean shells and the other on grassy fields. He's expected to follow Father's footsteps and make a King of himself, but ruling over the exiled sons of neighbouring kingdoms isn't exactly the route he wants to take.
It doesn't help that this business of Father's has now consumed most of his mind, if the rosy-cheeked boy with strange, dotted skin and a head of golden hair isn't enough indication.
Or: A new boy has arrived in Phthia, and Hwang Hyunjin doesn't know how to deal with the aftermath.

Felix's chest does a little thing, different from those usual twinges his heart gives him. It tightens, as if his heartstrings are twisting and pulling and binding around him, and then they release, leaving his heart nearly palpitating out of his ribcage.
He's been experiencing these weird sensations more often than not these days, and it completely mystifies him. Since when did he start developing these subconscious reactions, and why has Hyunjin been behind all of them?
