Lucas and Dustin laugh in agreement, and Mike sputters on his drink, crunching the can in his grip, heart slamming against his ribs.
“What?” He says through a cough, blowing his cover, “Will’s got a boyfriend?”“Uh…yeah?” Dustin laughs, patting Mike’s back as he coughs. “Carlton, dude. Remember? Are you seriously that drunk?”
He’s gripping his beer can so hard that the metals warped, its sharp edges digging into his palms. “I—I didn’t know.”

He can’t help it. He has to pry, he has to dig his fingers into the cracks and pull it all apart.

He might have to kill this guy and hide the body, because no one can find out that he got picked up bridal-style and tossed in the back seat like he’s about to let his date slide from second to third. The guys already give him enough shit for being pretty in the face – there’s no need to add fuel to their fire.

Hawks smiles as he helps him to stand on wobbly feet, both thumbs lost in a tight-fisted grip. Toma coos at him and Hawks coos back. To his surprise—and Dabi’s, judging by the look on his face—Toma then turns and makes the same sound at him.
Dabi huffs a breath and reaches out a hand to stroke over Toma’s fuzzy head.

It hurt to be asked, even if Katsuki knew his mother believed his innocence without question. Katsuki told everyone he didn't hurt her. The police said nothing. The girl said nothing. No one said anything, no one believed his confession it felt like. It hurt that no one did. It hurt he had to be asked.
“I didn't,” Katsuki whispered and his mother gave his hand a squeeze and nodded.
“I know.” She told him and pulled him into a tight hug. “I know you didn't.”
