It's whatever--he's not expecting to do much other than drink to the side, keep an eye on things, and eventually slip away to his room with a silencing spell to get some goddamn sleep.

Tastes each drink before Kalim can guzzle it down, positions himself subtly between any displeased eyes and his master, stands ever at the ready for Kalim’s every whim—until finally he can’t take it anymore, and waves his sister to come take over so he can get ten goddamn minutes to himself.
