Dabi slams his hand against the table. His cuffs give a low warning beep, the fire dancing under his skin being pulled too close to the surface.
"Son-" Endeavor starts, and Dabi hisses.
"Stop calling me son. I'm not Touya. Touya will not be near you. Touya will not see or hear from you. He will not interact with you, and you will not with him. Do you understand?” His voice is low, dangerous. A threat underlying. Even without his power, weakened by pain and a dozen meds, he could lurch across the table, rip out Endeavor's jugular with his teeth-

All For One fiddled with the files, inspecting all the pictures closely as he hummed. “And the nursery subjects? Any progress?”
Garaki smiled. “Yes. There’s still a handful of seeds that are spares, but many of them are now part of my experiments. Didn’t quite pass the tests, but their quirks may prove of use.”
“And the Todoroki boy? How has he been since awakening?”
The doctor smiled wider. “I think you should see for yourself.”

Summary
Janus knows something is wrong when their little memory time travel TARDIS attempt lands. Logan’s little remote beeps incessantly. The doors open as everyone peered out.
“My… bathroom?” Thomas says, confused. “Wait, this is my parent’s house.”
“My estimates date us at around thirteen or fourteen here,” Logan affirms.
Janus’ eye catches on their young host, sitting on the bathroom floor with tears, and slams the closet door shut.
(Janus fucks-up multiple times. It has consequences.)

His fingers had splayed out, grasping thin air. Jay’s eyes locked with his. He reaches for his dragon, but the panic seizing him prevents him from summoning it.
The fall feels slow, like time itself has slowed down as he reaches for a hand that’s not there, for a way out that he can’t find.
Helpless, he’s helpless. Cole’s chest had tightened as suddenly time righted itself and he was hurtling to the ground, Jay’s horrified face going out of sight.
The view of the Bounty gets swallowed up, and Cole begs for the earth to catch him as everything goes dark.
