Summary
For all intents and purposes, Felps looks like a particularly well-preserved corpse when sleeping. Sure, his chest is rising and falling with each breath, and if Cellbit tried he could easily find his pulse—but he’s as young as the day they took him ten years ago. And sometimes that overrides everything else.

this is based off of factorialcube's xcom2 au! you can technically read without having read that first but you'll be missing a lot of context

Summary
Forever can’t quite remember who suggested moving the beds together, but he’s sure it was at least somewhat Tazercraft’s fault. They were already doing it before the rest of them joined, after all. Lying in the middle of their two beds, curled up against each other.
Forever would say the rest of it was their fault, too, honestly. Specifically Pac’s. Because he remembers Pac’s hand stretched out across the pressed together mattresses in his. And that felt like the permission he didn’t know he was waiting for to search around to grab Cellbit’s.

this is based off of factorialcube's xcom2 au! but it's plotless enough you could probably enjoy without reading that (although i definitely recommend it!)
